Hi, I'm Maninder
Furpect Care is a small, independent guide site for dog and cat owners.
I'm based in Patterson, California, where I also run a software company. I started Furpect Care because shopping for pet gear is confusing: hundreds of near-identical products, inflated claims, and reviews you can't trust.
What you'll find here
- Buying guides that explain what matters — materials, sizing, safety, upkeep — so you can judge any product.
- Setup checklists for new puppies and cats.
- Everyday care basics like grooming and hydration, with a clear line where your vet takes over.
How the guides are made
Each guide is researched from manufacturer specifications, veterinary and animal-welfare sources, and patterns in owner feedback. When I've personally used a product I'll say so; when I haven't, I won't pretend. Guides are updated when products or advice change.
How the site is funded
Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, Furpect Care may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what a guide recommends. Details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
